Elizabeth Dole Foundation Partners with Telemynd to Expand Mental Health Access for Military Families, Veterans, and Caregivers

BOSTON, MA – May 14, 2026 –Telemynd, a national virtual mental health care provider serving military communities across the United States, today announced a new partnership with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation to expand access to mental health care for veterans, military families, caregivers, and dependents through a new support initiative offering up to 12 mental health sessions for eligible participants.

The collaboration represents another major step in Telemynd’s continued investment in serving the military and veteran community nationwide. Through this initiative, individuals connected to the Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s programs will have streamlined access to licensed therapists and psychiatric providers across Telemynd’s national care network. The partnership builds upon Telemynd’s longstanding work supporting Active-Duty service members, veterans, military spouses, caregivers, and dependents through existing relationships with TRICARE and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs community care ecosystem. For more than six years, Telemynd has served the military and veteran community nationwide, supporting over 1.4 million moments of care delivered to service members, veterans, dependents, caregivers, and their families across the United States. Through its national virtual care infrastructure, Telemynd has continued expanding access to licensed mental health providers for military-connected populations navigating deployment cycles, reintegration challenges, caregiver stress, trauma exposure, relationship strain, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other behavioral health needs commonly experienced throughout military life.

“Military families, caregivers, veterans, and service members often navigate extraordinary stressors that can impact emotional wellbeing, relationships, career stability, reintegration, and long-term mental health,” said Patrick Herguth, CEO at Telemynd. “This partnership expands access to care for communities that have historically faced barriers to receiving timely mental health support. It reflects Telemynd’s continued commitment to ensuring military-connected individuals can access care quickly, confidentially, and from licensed providers who understand the unique realities of military life.”

Military caregivers and families frequently encounter challenges tied to deployment cycles, transitions between duty stations, reintegration after service, chronic stress, caregiving responsibilities, trauma exposure, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and relationship strain. Access to behavioral health support remains a growing concern nationwide, particularly in rural communities and areas experiencing provider shortages. Through the new initiative, eligible individuals may receive access to therapy and mental health support services delivered virtually through Telemynd’s secure telehealth platform. Services are designed to reduce barriers to care by allowing patients to attend appointments from home while connecting with licensed mental health professionals across a broad range of specialties and treatment areas.

Telemynd currently supports patients nationwide through a network of more than 2,000 licensed providers and has delivered care to military communities across all 50 states. The organization provides therapy, psychiatry, counseling, and behavioral health support for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress-related disorders, family challenges, grief, burnout, and life transitions. The new collaboration with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation further strengthens a shared mission of supporting military and veteran families with practical, accessible, and person-centered care solutions.

Founded by Elizabeth Dole, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation works to empower, support, and honor the nation’s military and veteran caregivers. The organization advocates for the wellbeing of caregivers and families who support wounded, ill, or injured veterans and service members. As demand for behavioral health services continues to rise nationally, Telemynd has continued expanding its infrastructure, provider network, and military-focused support programs to improve access to care for underserved populations. The organization’s approach combines nationwide provider access with care coordination support designed to help individuals navigate scheduling, insurance, referrals, and treatment continuity. Telemynd’s broader military and veteran support initiatives include continued collaboration with military-focused organizations, support for TRICARE beneficiaries, participation in Veteran Affairs community care pathways, and specialized outreach programs designed for military spouses, dependents, caregivers, veterans, and first responders.
