Complete a psychiatric evaluation

Meet virtually with a licensed psychiatric provider in your state for a full assessment of your symptoms, medical history, and treatment needs.

  • Your psychiatric provider will review your symptoms, mental health history, and current concerns during a secure video visit. The goal is to understand what you’re experiencing, determine an accurate diagnosis, and discuss treatment options. Medication may be recommended if clinically appropriate.

  • Not necessarily. Medication is only prescribed when it’s appropriate for your diagnosis and treatment goals. Your provider will talk through options with you and answer any questions before making recommendations.

  • Telemynd focuses on evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management when appropriate. Providers may prescribe medications commonly used to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, and related mental health concerns. Telemynd does not prescribe controlled substances.

  • No. Medication is never required to continue care. Treatment decisions are collaborative, and your provider will work with you to determine the most appropriate approach based on your needs and preferences.

  • Follow-up visits are used to check in on how treatment is working, discuss side effects or concerns, manage refills, and make adjustments if needed. Visit frequency is based on your individual care plan.

  • If medication is prescribed, it will be sent electronically to your local pharmacy for pickup. Your provider will review instructions and answer any questions about your prescription during your visit.
