Telemynd and Responder Health Partner to Expand Mental Health Support for First Responders and Their Families
Telemynd is proud to partner with Responder Health to provide first responders and their families with expanded access to specialized virtual mental health care designed around the unique experiences and challenges of public service.
First responders dedicate their lives to protecting and caring for others, often facing high-pressure situations, traumatic events, unpredictable schedules, and emotional demands that can impact mental health and overall well-being. While firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, emergency dispatchers, and other public safety professionals are trained to respond in moments of crisis, finding support for themselves should never be another challenge to overcome.
Through this partnership, effective January 2026, Telemynd and Responder Health are creating a connected approach to behavioral health care that combines the value of peer support with access to professional clinical care. When a member participating in Responder Health’s peer counseling program needs additional mental health support, care coordinators from both organizations work together to connect that individual with a licensed Telemynd provider who understands the realities of first responder life.
This collaborative approach helps ensure first responders are not just connected with a mental health provider, but matched with someone who understands the culture, pressures, and experiences that come with serving their communities.
